Overview
David Marcou advises clients in a variety of regulatory and enforcement matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Prior to joining the firm, David served in the Office of Enforcement at the FERC, where he conducted investigations of participants in the wholesale electricity and natural gas markets. Those investigations concerned potential violations of FERC rules, regulations, and Commission-approved tariffs, as well as allegations of market manipulation. David also worked on reliability matters, including the Commission's inquiries into major reliability events such as Winter Storm Elliott.
