Overview
Rose Beattie represents both individual and corporate clients in criminal investigations and prosecutions, criminal appeals, internal investigations, and civil litigation. Her experience includes defending clients against a range of allegations including false statements, fraud, and other business crimes from pre-indictment through trial.
Rose has experience with fact development, responding to subpoenas and other requests for documents and information, presentations to government agencies, witness and expert preparation, motions practice, and preparing for oral argument. Rose is active in Steptoe’s pro bono program and represents clients in matters involving New York’s Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act.
While in law school, Rose was a legal intern in the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, Washington Criminal II Section, and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Rudolph Contreras on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
