Law360 quoted Zoe Osborne in a January 1, 2022 article titled "The Biggest Corporate Crime Cases To Watch In 2022." Osborne provided comments on Eurasian Natural Resources Corp. Ltd. v. the director of the Serious Fraud Office, a high-stakes collusion case handled by the High Court of Justice of England and Wales.
Speaking to what the outcome would mean for The Serious Fraud Office (SFO), Osborne says that "It is going to be a key judgment in terms of the ability of the SFO to function…This could really be the death knell for the SFO, and will be cited by some as the absolute proof they can be outgunned by well-funded defendants."
