Leah M. Quadrino is an associate in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where she is a member of the firm’s Litigation and International Departments.
Reinsurance
A significant portion of Ms. Quadrino’s practice is devoted to representing clients involved in reinsurance disputes. Ms. Quadrino has counseled clients regarding a variety of reinsurance issues, including the duty of utmost good faith, treaty language interpretation, claims management, underwriting practices, and contract/tort claims. She has worked extensively with both underwriting and claims experts in the reinsurance industry and has participated in several reinsurance arbitrations.
Civil Litigation
Ms. Quadrino’s practice also includes general commercial litigation in both federal and state courts, where she has participated in advising clients involved in insurance coverage disputes and securities transactions.
During law school, she interned for the Deputy Chief of Organized Crime at the US Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of New York.
