Steptoe's Global Food Contact Materials Team is excited to officially announce the agenda for our Fourth Annual Food Contact Conference in our Washington, DC office on Tuesday, April 21 - Wednesday, April 22, 2026!
This year's event will continue to serve as an effective introduction to the regulation of food-contact materials in the United States and around the globe, while bringing fresh perspectives on current and forthcoming developments that impact companies throughout the food packaging supply chain.
We are particularly excited to welcome Mark Hartman, Director of the Office of Food Chemical Safety, Dietary Supplements and Innovation, FDA, and to host a separate panel discussion on the politics of the "Make America Healthy Again" (MAHA) initiative, including proposed GRAS reform.

CLE Credit: Steptoe is an accredited CLE provider in California, Illinois, New York, and Texas and is pleased to offer the following credit for participation in the live event.
- California: This program is approved for 7.5 hours of CLE credit. No credit may be claimed for required MCLE in legal ethics, recognition and elimination of bias in the legal profession, implicit bias, and competence issues.
- Illinois: This program is approved for 7.5 hours of general CLE credit.
- New York: This program is approved for 9 hours of CLE credit including 9 hours in areas of professional practice. The content and format are suitable for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys.
- Texas: This program is approved for 7.5 hours of General MCLE credit.
