Overview
Nicolena's practice focuses on a wide range of litigation matters, including commercial, trademark, copyright, and constitutional litigation. Nicolena has managed cases in both state and federal court and arbitration proceedings throughout every phase, including initial pleadings, discovery, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, mediation, settlement, and trial. She has second-chaired jury and bench trials.
During law school, Nicolena externed with the Honorable Consuelo M. Callahan at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and with the Honorable Dale S. Fischer at the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She also interned at the California Attorney General's Office, Appeals section, where she argued a Fourth Amendment case in the California Court of Appeal and received a favorable decision. Additionally, Nicolena represented Pepperdine Law on the International Moot Court team at the Royal Courts of Justice while attending Pepperdine Law's London Program.
