(February 24, 2021, Brussels) — Steptoe’s Yongqing Bao has been named to Euromoney's Rising Stars Awards Europe. He was selected for the International Trade category. The 2020 list recognizes Europe's leading up-and-coming lawyers across 25 practice areas and 33 jurisdictions. They were selected for their professional accomplishments, advocacy and influence within their practice area in 2020.
Bao, a qualified Chinese lawyer, has been practicing international trade and EU customs law in Brussels for more than 10 years. He advises governments and private parties on various trade and investment issues, on EU law and on strategies for negotiating international trade agreements. Bao represents Chinese clients on multi-jurisdiction European customs and other investigations.
