Overview
Austin Kreitz focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense and investigations. Austin listens closely to his clients' goals and concerns to deliver client-focused advice. He strives to help clients resolve their problems, whether through litigation, mediation, or any other avenues.
Austin has experience representing clients in trials, appeals, arbitrations, administrative hearings, and investigations. He has argued motions, taken and presented witnesses for depositions, and examined and cross-examined witnesses at trial.
Before joining a litigation boutique firm, Austin served as the Law Fellow for the Special Counsel Unit at the Texas Attorney General's Office. While there, he worked on high-profile matters for the State of Texas concerning complex civil and constitutional issues. Prior to his work at the Attorney General's Office, he clerked for Judge Reed O'Connor of the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
While attending Harvard Law School, Austin interned with the US Attorney's Office.

- Successfully represented a senior officer in arbitration proceeding against former employer. Secured multimillion dollar judgment.
- Current representation of bankruptcy trustee in seeking to recover fraudulent transfers.
- Represented former employee in non-compete lawsuit brought by former employer. Secured favorable settlement.
- Represented oil and gas lessor in suit to quiet title related to lessor's land. Secured favorable settlement.
- Represented automobile dealership in termination proceedings brought by vehicle manufacturer.
White-Collar Criminal Defense and Government Investigations
- Represented former traders in investigation conducted by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
- Represented client in connection with tax-fraud investigation by IRS's Criminal Investigation Division with no charges filed.
