Overview
Emma Staats focuses her practice on International Arbitration. Her educational background in Public International Law and EU Law allows her to serve her clients' best interests in the international arena.
During her time in law school, Emma acted as a legal intern for the Washburn Law Clinic, aiding indigent clients in her community in landlord-tenant disputes, guardianship hearings, and gender marker change cases. Emma also served as an intern for the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Kansas where she worked on a variety of criminal cases. Additionally, Emma had the honor of externing for Judge Stephen D. Hill on the Kansas Court of Appeals.
