Overview
Heather Hildreth focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation, including patent and trade secret cases. She has experience handling all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation strategic counseling and due diligence investigations, expert and fact discovery, deposition preparation, discovery and dispositive motion practice, claim construction, and trial preparation. She has experience litigating in a variety of state and district courts, as well as the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
Heather is also experienced in patent preparation, prosecution, and counseling, which allows her to better analyze strengths and weaknesses in the patents she litigates. She spent several years working as a patent agent and a student associate while in law school. During this time, she provided strategic counseling to help companies develop high-value patent portfolios.
Heather's background is in physics. She has experience in a broad range of technologies, including mechanical devices, software and machine learning, image processing, electronics, medical devices, semiconductors, automotive technologies, and consumer goods.
