Overview
Kirsten Bickelman’s practice focuses on commercial and complex litigation and investigations. She represents clients in federal and state courts, as well as before international arbitral tribunals, on a variety of issues including advertising, breach of contract, real estate, and intellectual property.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Kirsten was a law clerk for the Honorable Moxila A. Upadhyaya in the United States District Court in the District of Columbia where she managed both civil and criminal dockets. Before law school, Kirsten spent a year in Spain as a Fulbright scholar where she taught English in a public secondary school.
Kirsten also maintains an active pro bono practice where she focuses on post-conviction relief for incarcerated clients. As part of this work, Kirsten has represented clients before the United States Parole Commission and in DC Superior Court.
