Overview
Joanna Griffin is an associate in Steptoe's international trade group, and assists clients with antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) proceedings before the US Department of Commerce and US International Trade Commission. She also advises clients on issues related to other US trade laws, including Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962, Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, Section 201 of the Trade Act of 1974, and the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). Her work encompasses trade remedies litigation and appeals, as well as trade and tariff counseling.
Prior to Steptoe, Joanna was a Legal Intern at Office of General Counsel, Office of the US Trade Representative. While at USTR, she assisted in the remedy phase of a Section 201 safeguard investigation.
