Overview
Kristina Woodward focuses her practice on white-collar criminal defense and government investigation matters. She represents both individuals and corporate clients in criminal and internal investigations. Her experience includes defending clients in cross-border investigations and prosecutions involving the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other government agencies.
Kristina has experience with fact development, responding to subpoenas and other requests for documents and information, presentations to government agencies, document reviews, and witness interviews. She also has experience with internal investigations for corporations involving allegations of workplace harassment/retaliation and employee misconduct. She has also assisted clients in developing and enhancing their corporate compliance programs.
Kristina is actively involved in Steptoe's pro bono program.
While in law school, Kristina was a legal intern in the US Department of Justice's Civil Division, Fraud Section, and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Reggie B. Walton on the US District Court for the District of Colombia.
