Overview
Evelyn Hudson focuses her practice on commercial litigation. While at Cornell Law School, Evelyn served as Editor in Chief of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. She was elected Co-President of the Women's Law Coalition, and in that role, she collaborated with other student leaders across the school to found the Women in Leadership Diversity Council. Following law school, she clerked on the Supreme Court of Kentucky.
Before joining Steptoe, Evelyn served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jane Stranch at the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. There, her responsibilities included preparing legal documents and materials for oral arguments, as well as drafting both published and unpublished opinions for the court.
Evelyn is also active in her pro bono work. She is part of a team representing the first doctor who was prosecuted for providing gender affirming care. She has also worked on pro bono matters related to LGBT care and abortion access. Evelyn was also named to the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels by Governor Andy Beshear.
