Overview
Peyton primarily focuses her practice on telecommunications, technology, antitrust, and other regulatory matters. She advises clients on matters before the Federal Communications Commission, including rulemaking and licensing actions, regulatory review of mergers and acquisitions, and telecom and antitrust regulatory compliance implementation. She is also a member of Steptoe’s interdisciplinary artificial intelligence (AI) team and supports complex commercial litigation matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Peyton served as a policy intern for the Future of Privacy forum, where she conducted legal research, legislative tracking, and analysis on data privacy and technology issues. During law school, she was actively involved in Vanderbilt's Black Law Students Association, Women Law Students Association, and the Entertainment & Sports Law Society.
Peyton received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, and both her M.A., summa cum laude, in Mass Communications and B.S., magna cum laude, in Public Relations from the University of Florida. She is a member of the American Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar, and Federal Communications Bar Association.
