Overview
Cara focuses her practice on complex business disputes, including commercial litigation, investigations, and class action defense. Cara has experience litigating in federal and state courts from discovery through summary judgment, trial, and appeal.
Cara has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in multimillion-dollar cases in all phases of litigation, including case assessment and strategy development, drafting of evidentiary and dispositive motions, managing fact and expert discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions in limine and Daubert motions, jury research, drafting direct and cross-examinations for fact and expert witnesses, and preparing key witnesses for examination. Cara has second-chaired trials and taken important roles both in preparation and in the courtroom. Cara also has experience assisting companies conducting internal investigations and responding to government and third-party subpoenas.
