Overview
Maia Danna's practice focuses on internal and government investigations and white-collar defense, representing both individuals and corporate clients. Her experience includes defending clients in investigations and prosecutions involving various government agencies. She has experience with internal investigations into whistleblower complaints alleging bribery and other misconduct at multinational corporations. She has also counseled clients on complex civil litigation and regulatory matters.
During law school, Maia served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Steven B. Gould at the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.
Maia's dedication to pro bono work is evidenced by her recognition with the John Nolan Awards for Pro Bono Excellence in 2024 after securing a favorable jury verdict for the client in federal court. Additionally, she has been selected as a 2025 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinder.
