Overview
Byron's practice focuses on several areas of EU and international trade law, including anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations, economic sanctions, export controls, customs law, free trade agreements (FTAs), trade negotiations, EU internal market law, and WTO dispute settlement. He frequently works with clients on matters before the European Commission and has assisted clients in the context of more than two dozen cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
In the field of trade remedies, Byron has assisted clients in several high-profile anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, and safeguard investigation across the world. He regularly advises clients regarding compliance with economic sanctions, export controls, customs law, as well as the EU Blocking Statute.
Byron also devotes a substantial part of his practice to pro bono initiatives.
