Overview
(November 7, 2022, New York) — Steptoe & Johnson LLP has recruited Jacob Morvay as its new Chief Financial Officer. His appointment takes place as Steptoe continues to professionalize its business services departments, to invest in its C-suite leadership team, and to expand its client value, pricing, data, and financial analytics capabilities.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Morvay was the CFO of Frost Brown Todd, and before that Controller at Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton in New York. He also previously worked in the Private Company Services group at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Morvay will lead Steptoe's Finance & Accounting department. He will work closely with the chair and vice chair as well as other partners and C-suite colleagues to manage Steptoe's financial performance.
