Stewart Baker, Steptoe partner and former general counsel at the National Security Agency (NSA), was interviewed by CNBC and Federal News Radio on the implications of the USA Freedom Act. Over the next six months, the legislation will phase out the NSA’s bulk phone records collection program, which will soon require warrants for phone companies and the government to access the data.
