Patrick F. Linehan is of counsel in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the Litigation Department. His diverse practice focuses on the following types of representations:

- Employment-Related FINRA Arbitrations
- Government Contracts Litigation
White-Collar Criminal Defense
Mr. Linehan has defended individuals and companies against allegations of all manners of business and financial crimes, including securities fraud, food and drug violations, False Claims Act violations, federal antitrust violations, and tax offenses, among others.
Securities Enforcement/Private Securities Litigation
Mr. Linehan has defended individuals and companies in enforcement investigations and litigation brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as in private class action litigation brought under state and federal securities laws.
Employment-Related FINRA Arbitrations
Mr. Linehan has represented individual employees in the securities industry, both in the negotiation of employment contracts and in arbitration before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority against their former employers.
Government Contracts Litigation
Mr. Linehan has also represented government contractors, including minority- and woman-owned small business government contractors, in bid protest proceedings and other government contract disputes.
